Environmental engineering connects the natural sciences with technical and technological fields. You will come across the basics of maths, physics, chemistry or biology and most importantly subjects focused on the maintenance of landscapes and careful utilisation of natural resources. Your teachers will emphasise the protection and formation of landscapes and nature in conditions of sustainable development. During your studies you will be basically introduced to some economic and legal aspects of the environment. You will be employable basically in all fields that have anything to do with the protection of the environment. In your profession you will, besides other things, dedicate yourself to the recultivation and protection of nature and landscapes, the protection of waters and soils and the monitoring of the status of the environment. And even though after you finish your studies you will only be leaving with a bachelor degree, you can always continue your master studies or later doctoral studies in courses that are oriented towards environmental protection.
